YOYAGE multi-turn gearboxes turn the valve stem through multiple revolutions for gate and globe valves, with bevel, spur and dual-structure worm series covering 216 to 170,000 Nm in manual, electric, pneumatic declutchable and 3-way input versions.
Valve type decides part-turn vs multi-turn and worm / bevel / spur gearing; service conditions decide the housing material.
Manual handwheel, electric actuator (D-suffix series), or pneumatic declutchable operation.
Match torque and ratio to the valve, then verify the mounting flange and stem dimensions.
Send valve type, size, torque and stem data for a quotation, selection support or custom design.
No standard multi-turn series matches your filters.
YOYAGE can design and build multi-turn gearboxes beyond the standard range. Send us your valve size, torque and thrust requirement.
A quick reference to the structure, bevel, spur and worm gear trains, materials and service options behind the YOYAGE multi-turn range.
A multi-turn valve gearbox turns the valve stem through multiple revolutions to lift or lower the disc, so the valve opening height follows the stem travel. It is the correct structure for gate and globe valves, where several turns of the stem are needed between fully open and fully closed.
The valve type decides the structure before any other decision: rising-stem valves need a multi-turn gearbox, and the required output torque together with the thrust load then sets the series size. YOYAGE multi-turn gearboxes cover 216 to 170,000 Nm across the 14 series listed on this page.
Bevel gearboxes turn the drive through 90° and multiply the input torque, which makes them the common structure for multi-turn gate and globe valve gearboxes. Spur gearboxes add a further reduction stage for higher ratios and higher output torque, while the dual-structure MY family uses a worm gear train that can be configured for part-turn or multi-turn service.
Series such as MY-V-1S and CK-1S extend the bevel range to 100,000 Nm and 26,000 Nm, and the 3-way input RK-DZ accepts manual, electric or pneumatic input through the same bevel housing. Manual series use a handwheel; the D suffix denotes electric actuator input; pneumatic declutchable series allow manual operation with an actuator mounted.
Housing material follows the service environment: ductile iron for general industrial duty, WCB cast steel for higher pressure and temperature, CF8/CF8M stainless steel for corrosive media, and LCC/LCB/LC1 low-temperature cast steel for cold service.
Protection is IP67 or IP65 as standard, with IP68 available for buried or frequently flooded installations. C3 and C5 coating systems are available for outdoor, coastal and corrosive sites.
YOYAGE multi-turn valve gearboxes and gear operators are used in water management, oil and gas, power generation and chemical processing, where reliable rising-stem valve operation is required. The 14 series here cover 216 to 170,000 Nm in manual, electric, pneumatic declutchable and 3-way input versions.
Beyond the standard range, gear ratios, handwheel and chainwheel sizes, stem bores, flange standards and materials can be adapted to the valve, and every custom design is confirmed by drawings before production. Products are torque-tested and low-temperature tested in an ISO 9001-certified plant; all products carry the CE mark.
Selection, torque and thrust, materials, customization and quotation questions we are asked most often about multi-turn gearboxes.
Gate and globe valves, which open and close by turning the stem through multiple revolutions and lifting or lowering the disc. A multi-turn gearbox matches that travel, so the valve type always decides the structure first.
The 14 series on this page cover 216 to 170,000 Nm with ratios from 2.3:1 to 5280:1. Manual, electric actuator input (D suffix), pneumatic declutchable and 3-way input versions are available; select the series whose maximum torque is above the valve's required torque including the safety factor.
Confirm the valve's required output torque including the safety factor, and for gate valves also check the thrust load. The ratio follows the allowed manual input effort or the electric actuator's input torque. Finally check the ISO 5210 mounting flange and stem dimensions against the valve.
Standard housings are ductile iron, with WCB cast steel, CF8/CF8M stainless steel and LCC/LCB/LC1 low-temperature steel available for other service conditions. Protection is IP67 as standard with IP68 optional, and C3 or C5 coating can be specified for outdoor and corrosive environments.
Yes. Gear ratios, handwheel and chainwheel sizes, stem bores, flange standards, housing materials and coating systems can be adapted, and every custom gearbox is confirmed by drawings before production starts. See Custom Solutions.
