How do I select a BA-Q model by thrust and cylinder connection?

Select the model whose rated output torque and thrust meet the valve's required torque and thrust with an adequate safety factor, then confirm the maximum stem diameter, the PCD(D0) bolt circle, N-H-DP bolt pattern and D1×h convex on the pneumatic actuator side, and the gate or globe valve DN. Which valves can the BA-Q series be mounted on?

The BA-Q series is mounted on the pneumatic actuator, not directly on the valve. It is used for gate and globe valves whose pneumatic actuator has the matching ISO 5210 interface; the stem bore and mounting dimensions comply with international standards, so the gearbox assembles directly onto the actuator.

Can the BA-Q gearbox be used outdoors or in submerged conditions?

Standard protection is IP65, with fully sealed joints against water and oil leakage. For flooding-prone or buried installations, IP68 and immersion protection are available on request, together with C5 coating for corrosive environments.

BA-Q Bevel Gear Operator

The BA-Q series is an independent multi-turn bevel valve gearbox with a declutchable manual override, mounted on the pneumatic actuator of a gate or globe valve. Its spiral bevel gear pair drive the trapezoidal-thread stem nut, converting horizontal handwheel rotation into vertical stem travel, while the declutchable mechanism switches between pneumatic actuator operation and manual handwheel operation when the air supply fails. Seven models cover 360–6,000 Nm and 43,000–630,000 N of thrust, and a second-stage reducer can be added for higher thrust. All joints are fully gasketed against water and oil leakage. ISO 5210 pneumatic-actuator mounting; IP65 as standard, IP68 optional. Manufactured in compliance with CE and ISO 9001 standards.
