Which valves can the YZ-ZC-D series be mounted on?

In general, the gearbox is suitable for gate and globe valves. It mounts directly on the valve and drives a trapezoidal-thread stem nut that moves the stem up and down. The valve-side mounting flange follows ISO 5210.

How is the YZ-ZC-D matched with an electric actuator?

The handwheel input of the YZ-ZC is replaced by an actuator flange, and each model is pre-matched with actuator torque, speed, connection flange and output torque in the combination table. Ratios can also be selected to match the required valve opening time.

Can the YZ-ZC-D be combined with other gearboxes?

Yes. As a standalone spur gear reducer it can be combined with any single-stage gearbox to build a multi-stage unit with higher ratio and output torque. Combined with the YZ worm gearbox it forms the YZ-SD, and combined with the MY-V bevel gearbox it forms the MY-V-SD. See our selection guide for combination selection.

Can the YZ-ZC-D gearbox be used outdoors or in submerged conditions?

Standard protection is IP67. For special environments such as flooding-prone or buried installations, IP68 and immersion protection are available on request.

YZ-ZC-D Spur Gear Operator

The YZ-ZC-D series is the electric-actuator-driven version of the YZ-ZC multi-turn spur gearbox: the handwheel input is replaced by an actuator flange, so the same multi-stage spur gear train is driven by an electric actuator, with ratios selected to match the valve opening time. It mounts directly on gate and globe valves, driving a trapezoidal-thread stem nut that moves the stem up and down. Actuator torque, speed and connection are pre-matched for each of the seven sizes, covering 600–23,000 Nm at ratios from 2.5:1 to 24:1. The precise-cast housing, thrust bearings and deep groove ball bearings keep operation smooth and efficient. Valve-side mounting follows ISO 5210, the actuator input ISO 5210 or JB2920-81; IP67 as standard, IP68 optional. Manufactured in compliance with CE and ISO 9001 standards.
