Which valves can the HX series be mounted on?

Butterfly, ball, plug and rotary ball valves with 90° quarter-turn travel. All mounting flanges follow ISO 5211, and the stem bore and mounting height comply with international standards, so the gearbox assembles directly onto the valve.

What is the difference between the HX and the YZ series?

The HX is the heavy-duty ductile iron model: one-piece worm shaft, split worm wheel nut, 670–220,000 Nm and ratios to 4170:1. The YZ series is the general-duty quarter-turn gearbox covering 500–6,825 Nm with a wider choice of housing materials.

What do the HX-S models add?

HX-S5 to HX-S13D are two-stage versions of the same ductile iron platform: they keep the 90° quarter-turn output but raise the ratio up to 4170:1, so a smaller handwheel input can drive large butterfly and ball valves.

Can the HX gearbox be used outdoors or in submerged conditions?

Standard protection is IP67. For flooding-prone or buried installations, IP68 and immersion protection are available on request.

HX Worm Gear Operator

The HX series is YOYAGE's heavy-duty quarter-turn manual worm gearbox, built for the 90° operation of butterfly, ball, plug and rotary ball valves in demanding service. Unlike the YZ and MY families, whose strength lies in a broad choice of housing materials and configurations, the HX focuses on one high-strength ductile iron housing built to carry heavy loads year after year. Twenty-one sizes deliver 670–220,000 Nm with ratios from 36:1 to 4170:1; single-stage models cover general quarter-turn duty, while the two-stage HX-S versions raise the ratio for large valves. A one-piece worm shaft keeps the drive rigid and a split worm wheel nut is simple to machine and replace. ISO 5211 mounting flange; IP67 as standard, IP68 optional. Manufactured in compliance with CE and ISO 9001 standards.
